What Is This Program About?
In Module One, we discuss how great leadership starts with self-leadership. In this kickoff module, we explore the mindset shifts that help you lead with strength, clarity, and purpose - especially when the pressure is on. You'll uncover the internal patterns that shape your leadership style and learn how to stay grounded, focused, and resilient no matter what comes your way.
In Module Two, we focus on your emotional intelligence as one of your greatest assets as a leader. This module helps you understand and manage your own emotions, tune into others more effectively, and respond to challenges with empathy and composure. You’ll walk away with practical tools to improve relationships, reduce reactivity, and lead with greater insight and care.
In Module Three, we acknowledge that burnout doesn’t have to be part of the job. Here, we focus on how to protect your energy, set healthy boundaries, and lead in a way that’s sustainable - for you and your team. You’ll learn how to recognize stress signals early, prioritize your well-being, and model balance without sacrificing results.
In Module Four, we recognize that a strong team culture doesn’t happen by accident; it’s shaped by how you lead every day. This module focuses on building trust, boosting morale, and creating a work environment where people feel safe, seen, and motivated to contribute. Learn how to set the tone, guide your team through challenges, and foster connection that drives results.
In Module Five, we remind participants that change is inevitable, and how you show up during change makes all the difference. In this module, we explore how to lead with confidence in uncertain times. You’ll learn to stay grounded under pressure, communicate with clarity, and support your team through transitions with honesty and resilience.
In Module Six, we work with the idea that leadership isn’t just a role, it’s an identity that evolves over time. This module helps you reflect on your growth, reconnect with your values, and let go of outdated beliefs that may be holding you back. It’s about stepping into your next level with confidence, clarity, and a strong sense of self.
In Module Seven, we emphasize the importance of communication: Whether you’re giving feedback, addressing conflict, or presenting a new idea, how you communicate matters. In this module, you’ll strengthen your leadership voice and learn to navigate tough conversations with clarity and care. We’ll focus on building influence without force, so your message lands and your presence resonates.
In Module Eight, this closing module brings it all together. We’ll focus on developing a calm, grounded leadership presence that inspires trust and respect. You’ll also build relational intelligence — the ability to lead through human connection, not just authority — so you can guide others with authenticity, empathy, and strength.

COACH BIO
Michelle Volz is a Certified Master Life Coach and licensed psychotherapist with over 25 years of experience supporting individual and organizational growth. She helps leaders strengthen mindset, communication, and confidence, especially in the high-pressure realities of today’s changing workplace.
Her coaching combines psychological insight with developmental frameworks and actionable strategies tailored to real-world leadership demands. She brings a grounded, emotionally intelligent approach to leadership development, with a focus on leadership identity formation, interpersonal effectiveness, and navigating change and complex team dynamics.
Michelle is especially skilled at getting to the root of what’s holding leaders back, and helping them create lasting, meaningful change from their place of insight. Her approach equips leaders to see with greater clarity, shift unhelpful patterns, and step forward with renewed purpose, presence, and confidence in how they lead.
She has experience working with a range of leadership and personality assessments, including MBTI, DiSC, and EQ-i 2.0, and brings a working knowledge of multiple 360 feedback tools into her engagements. She also integrates principles from the iPEC Energy Leadership framework and holds a certificate in Applied Neuroscience for Coaching. Michelle earned a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, and she completed her executive coach training through The College of Executive Coaching.
Michelle has supported leaders in nonprofit, mission-driven, and small-business settings, including managers, directors, and executive teams, and is now expanding her work in collaboration with prime contractors serving the public sector.
